Phew!

After a reasonable sensible week last week, (even with the office christmas party!) I am back down to 69.2 kgs. So I’m guessing that last weeks’s massive gain was mostly bloating caused by salt and alcohol. Thank goodness!

Hmmm…

This morning I weighed 70.2, which is heaps better than yesterdays weigh in of 71.4! Now, I was extremely good yesterday, ate well and did heaps of exercise, but that is a bit extreme! So i must assume that tuesdays weigh in was affected by salt bloating.

Note to self: must re-read some old articles that I wrote on here, som of them are pretty good!

Start where you stand

Back when I first started losing weight, I gfound these words very comforting

“Start where you stand, and work with the tools at your command. Better tools will be found as you go along”

Well, now my weight issues are once again in crisis and I need to start back at the beginning. So I am starting where I stand once more, only now I have many more tools at my command.

My weight this morning was 71.4kgs. That is a huge spike of 2.4kgs in three weeks.

So, this morning I got out my diet file and read back through the motivation section. I plan to do this every day, as well as re-reading “The thin Commandments” and a few other books that helped me to change my mindset before. I need to re-learn my skills of coping with stress without eating.

I am committing to beginning again now, right where I stand, without delays for christmas, new years, or any other special event. I plan to get that 2.4 kgs back off as quickly as it went on!

A Beautifull Wedding!

My sister got married on Saturday. It was a lovely day, she did a fantastic job of organising and looked absolutly stunning on the day. Everyone had a lot of fun, the photographer told me he had never seen so many people on the dancefloor at a wedding!

So congratulations to my lovely sister and her lovely husband, who is a very welcome addition to the family!

Love,

Ness

Disaster recovery - day 5

I had popcorn at the movies last night - is that bad? Other than that my day was good although lacking in exercise due to an alarm clock malfunction…

Today I rode my bike in to work, and will ride home too. Spending this evening with K, will have to be careful as he has elected Fridays as his ‘crap day’ when he eats what he wants. I can’t afford a crap day right now!

Disaster recovery - Day 4

Yesterday was OK, except for the bikkies and dip after I got home, oops!

I am upset because I weighed myself this morning and I haven’t lost anything. Nothing, not a thing. Bummer. Why not? I’ve been GOOD Dammit!

Disaster recover day 3

Yesterday was very good. I stayed right on track with my eating, had a good workout in the morning and a nice long walk with K in the evening.

Today I’ve had a moderatly good workout, and will do my best to eat well, even though I’ve forgotten my lunch and am unexpectedly eating dinner at a friends house tonight. I think all will be fine though.

Disaster recovery - Day 2

Last night was not too bad - Rode home from work, had a great girls night, wonderful company, ordered something really low in calories and avoided the alcohol. I did give in to the nibblies, and I had some bread before the meal, but overall not too bad.

Today I’ve had a good workout, and will attempt to be totally on plan with my eating, no reason not to be!
