I never really liked cauliflower, but then, when your only experience of a vegetable is having it served up all boiled and soggy, that isn’t really surprising, is it?
I tried roasting cauliflower the other night, and it was REALLY YUMMY!!! I sliced it through the stem so it was kind of flat, and then sprayed it with olive oil spray, sprinkled on some mixed herbs and gave it 10 minutes on each side in a moderate oven. The result is a lovely nutty flavour that’s awesome with just a little salt.
hmmmm…. what other nasty veggies can I do interesting things with?
