The grumpies are a big cause of emotional eating for me. When I get tired, frustrated, fed up, I get the grumpies and then I turn to food - usually the fried potato variety of food.
One of the best tools I’ve found for curing the grumpies and heading off a binge is to have a folder full of “happy music” on my MP3 player. I listen to it when I’m feeling a bit out of sorts.
I defy anybody to be grumpy while listening to “Hey hey we’re the Monkees!”
